Solar-based generation of hydrogen

Design and fabrication of a thermochemical reactor for the solar-based generation of hydrogen using the two-step zinc oxide cycle. PhD student Erik Koepf has used the principles of conduction, convection, and radiation heat transfer, as well as fluid mechanics and materials to design and fabricate a high temperature solar-based reactor for the reduction of Zinc Oxide.
