Trainees meet weekly at Arctic Studies Library

Trainees met weekly in the Institute of Arctic Studies Library, which has been given over to them for a wide range of student- programmed activities including: trainee meetings, discussion of scholarly articles, Greenlandic language instruction with Greenlandic exchange students (in anticipation of the Greenland Field Seminar), viewing of polar webcasts and videos, and preparation of projects for IGERT courses. Weekly meetings in a space defined as their own built cross-discipline and cross-cultural understanding.
