Research Achievements

Trainee co-authors 5 publications

Several interdisciplinary research achievements and papers have resulted from James (Mitch) Elmore's research project and the CREATE-related funding. James is a co-author on 5 high-impact publications related to the discovery of novel plant signaling responses and innate immunity. James has received interdisciplinary training in mass spectrometry, enabling analyses of the plant plasma membrane proteome to detect dynamic changes during plant defense signaling. He has collaborated with Dr. Desveaux's research group, located at the University of Toronto, and published a PNAS paper as a result of this collaboration. He has also collaborated with Dr. Michael Palmgren's research group at the University of Copenhagen and coauthored a PLoS Biology research publication as a result.
