Offered 2009 summer course: IGERT BIOFUELS HANDS-ON SHORT COURSE Bioenergy IGERT faculty from School of Forest Resources and College of Engineering collaborated to offer a short course comprised of lectures and labs, providing an overview of the technical aspects of this field. The course topics were: Biomass Composition Conversion via the biochemical platform Conversion via the thermochemical platform Combustion Processes Each day of the 3-day course featured lecture in the morning and lab demonstrations in the afternoon.
