Achievement

Within the reporting period, the A.J. Drexel Nanotechnology Institute has launched an international master's program titled "Materials for Energy Storage and Conversion" (MESC). This prestigious program has received the prestigious designation from the European Commission as an Erasmus Mundus Program. The focus of this program will be on energy research, a growing need in the US. Students will come to Drexel for the final 6 months of their 2-year masters coursework in order to complete thesis. IGERT trainees will have the opportunity to engage with and mentor international world-class master's students through the establishment of this program.
