Psychology and Security course

As part of the IGERT course development component, a pilot interdisciplinary course titled "Psychology and Security" was designed and co-taught by Jim Lewis a psychology professor at NYU-Poly and Nasir Memon, a computer science professor. Graduate and undergraduate students from different disciplines took the course. This course was offered in Fall 2010 when we did not have any IGERT trainees in the program. We anticipate IGERT trainees to take this course next year and steps will be taken to make the course part of the CS curriculum and a required course for IGERT trainees.

In addition to this course we have developed three courses that will be co-listed with the technology management program in the area of security management. Also, planning is underway to develop two more such interdisciplinary courses involving policy and economics.
