Trainees receive major awards
Three IGERT trainees received major awards. Nuri Tessa Pierce and Robert Rockwood received NSF predoctoral fellowships. Levi Lewis received a Ford Fellowship.
IGERT Fellow, Ben Fissel, received his PhD in January 2011. His thesis is titled: Modeling and Estimation of Financial and Bioeconomic Settings in a Dynamic Environment. Ben works for NOAA, NWFSC as a Marine Economist
