Improv for Scientists workshop

LEAP students organized a workshop for graduate students and faculty on improvisation techniques. These improv techniques are widely taught to teams from many disciplines to foster improved communication skills and camaraderie among team members. Only recently have they been applied to scientific disciplines. The goal is for researchers (students and faculty) in LEAP related research to have improved communication while working on interdisciplinary group projects. Christy Bonstell from Second City presented a 6 week workshop called "Improv for Scientists". Eleven graduate students participated.
