Model of information processing and decision-making

Fellow Andrew Hein (Biology PhD student) worked with his co-advisor, Scott McKinley (Mathematics faculty) to develop a model of information processing and decision-making which is currently in review at Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. Andrew also spent several weeks visiting the lab of Iain Couzin's lab at Princeton where recent work has provided new tools for studying how organisms learn about their environments and use spatial information to make behavioral decisions.
