Achievement

In the first few months of the IGERT, a number of the trainees have already focused on graphene-based nanomaterials from fundamental optical spectroscopy, to device level implementations, to next-generation photovoltaics. The work from this group of trainees is evidenced in a number of publications ranging from ACS Nano, Phys. Rev. series, to other major publications under review currently. This is made possible by the spontaneous cross-disciplinary participation of IGERT trainees and faculty.
