Achievement

Publications: Trainees were quite productive in submitting/publishing manuscripts in highly cited journal and conference proceedings. Erik Sheets coauthored a paper in Energy & Environ. Sci, Dharik Mallapragada has coauthored papers in Ind. Eng. Chem. Res., Biomass Conv. Bioren., and Computer Aided Process Engineering. Wei-Chang Yang submitted a manuscript to JACS. Bryce Walker coauthored a manuscript submitted to Advance Energy Materials. Four manuscripts were published in the Proceedings of IEEE, PVSC-38 conference in 2012. A hallmark of all these publications is that they are coauthored by IGERT trainees and associates from different disciplines and as a result have interdisciplinary perspective.
