Trainees propose multidisciplinary dissertation topics
Two of our IGERT trainees from the 2006 cohort, Robin Van Meter and Daniel Miles, successfully defended their dissertation proposals and advanced to PhD candidacy. Both students have developed highly multidisciplinary topics owing to the influence of the IGERT. Even though we are reporting the successes of these two individuals, we feel that their developed topics are clear programmatic achievements.
