Trainees secure fellowships to pursue research abroad

Matt Stasiewicz was awarded a $14,990 USAID Borlaug Fellowship for his project, “Local Hammer Mills as the Focal Point for Mycotoxin Control in Kenya”. Jessica Bliss won a Fulbright-Hays award to pursue work on factors influencing participation in Severe Acute Malnutrition programs in Kenya. The research was originally to have taken place in Niger.
