Achievement

Keith Douglass a graduate student in chemistry is jointly supervised by Andrew Teplyakov in chemistry and Robert Opila in materials science. He is working to characterize InGaN surfaces for use in solar cells and as a photoelectrode. His work with InGaN surface cells involves collaborations with Prof. Ian Ferguson at Georgia Tech, while his work with InGaN involves work with IGERT co-fellow Cory Budishak. This work is in the early stages but Douglass is developing protocols to prepare reproducible surfaces for photocatalysis experiments and Schottky contacts.
