An interdisciplinary approach to analyzing vulnerability in freshwater social-ecological systems

In this poster for the 2013 Front Range Student Ecology Symposium at Colorado State University, we envision a hierarchical approach for analyzing social-ecological systems by applying it to water-centric resource management. This on-going work is an effort from a sub-group of three I-WATER fellows which contributes to the overall interdisciplinary efforts of the I-WATER team to integrate physical, biological, and social sciences in confronting challenges in freshwater resources.
