Achievement

Integrative Activities: The ABS-IGERT successfully implemented a university-wide seminar series. ABS Trainees were leaders of the 11th Annual Ecological Integration Symposium and Student Research Symposium. ABS Trainees and Associates elected student representatives for all ABS Program Committees (ExComm, Selection, Faculty meetings, Curriculum). Statistics on attendance to ABS-IGERT events: 14 seminars and 5 workshops, 8 of those were outside speakers; Average attendance was 34 for seminars and 23 for workshops; participants came from 15 different departments; 84% of total attendance was from 4 core departments.
